Book Review - Being: A Journey by Pankaj Gupta

📜BOOK: Being A Journey
📜AUTHOR: Pankaj Gupta
📜GENRE: Self-Help, Non-Fiction
📝RATING: 4.5/5

✒️MY TAKE:

I wouldn't call 'Being: A Journey' merely a self-help guide. This book is much more than that. The author’s words will put you into an introspective mentality, propelling you to turn the cog-wheels in your mind to actually understand what you are genuinely capable of.

One of the thoughtful aspects that I liked about this book is the questionnaire put across by the author in the introduction section. These questions felt like personal journaling which prompted me to think about my creative pursuits I would like to embark on as well as how I utilized my quality time personally and professionally. This questionnaire set the context of this book which encouraged me to read further.

Mr Pankaj Gupta has shared tons of practical insights taking a leaf out of his personal life. The very fact that the author was backing and corroborating each nuances of Communication, Time Management, Professional Growth Plan with his personal experiences and successes, added tremendous credibility to this book.

Overall, 'Being: A Journey' has been a motivating read for me where I enjoyed the truth bombs dropped by the author, calling out on our day-to-day idiosyncrasies and sharing a workaround for each lazy habit that we can convert into a profitable and fruitful one.
