📝PLOT:
Given the mortality onslaught that we have faced during the last past few years, how would you feel about receiving full medical security and mental peace in return of accepting a medical-digital dictatorship?
2034 revolves around a futuristic world where the divide is basis people's personal choice of accepting medical rules regarding vaccination and digitization. The divide is maintained geographically through dangerous drones.
The people who have accepted the medical dictatorship have access to all amenities like electric unmanned vehicles, artificial food and no requirement to work and earn. On the other hand, people who rejected the medical security have free will, with the responsibility to look after their own needs with no assurance for health and food each day.
2034 unravels the future of people living on both sides of the spectrum with some unforeseen and shocking consequences.
✒VERDICT
🥇Pros:
1) Hats off to the author for creating a plot on a dystopian future involving a unique theme of medical dictatorship. Full points to the author for writing on such a relevant and unconventional storyline.
2) This book makes for the perfect case study of the weakness and strength of human minds. Any dangerous medical repercussions can weaken the human mind which makes it susceptible to political control. This is portrayed brilliantly in this book. On the other hand, the 'free people' who refused to bow down to politics in the name of medical security have shown firmness in their personalities.
3) The quality of narration is great with the author setting the context of 2034 for the readers in a methodical manner.
👎Cons:
There were a few transitions in this book which I feel could have been a bit more seamless. I had to re-read some parts to understand the context.
💫Overall, a definitely recommended read for everyone for its concrete plot and relevant storyline.
