📙BOOK: The Rock in the Story 📙AUTHOR: JR Giuliano 📙GENRE: Contemporary Fiction 📝RATING: ⚡️Storyline: 4.1/5 ⚡️Literature: 4.2/5 ✒️MY TAKE: The character sketch of Maria Della Notte consumed me with her innocent questions in a complicated life situation. For any child, parents are the world that ensconces and protects the life that they gave birth to. Maria, at a tender age of ten, was enveloped in her uncertainties regarding her surrogate mother, her origin and most importantly, why would she have a surrogate mother in the first place! 🌌This book had me captivated from the first chapter as we are introduced into life of the character. I would take a moment here to admire the author’s ability to capture the mind-space of the readers with emotional depth and mellifluous prose.
