✒VERDICT
🥇Pros:
1) Holly Black creates a masterpiece in the form of a trilogy where the interest does not waver for even a second. Generally, we have a lot of expectations from the last part of any series in terms of finding answers, getting closure as well as expecting the emotional climax of the lead pair. HOLLY BLACK DOES NOT DISAPPOINT ONE BIT WITH THE QUEEN OF NOTHING.
2) The author has created a heady concoction of politics, betrayal, friendship and love which makes each page of the book thrilling and suspenseful. I was addicted to this book because each page brought in a new possibility and a new turn of events.
3) I cannot help but admire the character development of Jude Duarte whose rise to power as a mortal in the Faerieland deserves a book of its own. She is fierce, ambitious and insecure in her own way, just like any mortal human being should be. This is what made Jude relatable to me. I found a lot of things to learn from Jude as well as found myself relating to her struggles and lack of confidence during hard times.
🌟Overall, The Queen of Nothing is a Chef's Kiss to the trilogy series and it goes without saying that this book should be in the must-read TBR of all the readers who love fantasy tropes.
